As of 10:00 AM, the Sensex rose 549.73 points or 0.72 per cent to 76,702.59 and the Nifty50 was up 74.10 points or 0.31 per cent at 23,947.55. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Tech Mahindra, and Wipro India were the top gainers in the Nifty50. In the broader markets, the Nifty MidCap fell 0.04 and the Nifty SmallCap rose 0.46 per cent. Sector-wise, the Nifty IT rose the most, while the Nifty Consumer Durables fell the most.
